Appel à participation CANON

Bonjour,

Et non je ne peux pas acheter toutes les imprimantes du marché pour les tester. Mais je lance un premier appel à participation pour faire quelques test sur les imprimantes Canon. Le but est de suivre pas à pas la méthodologie de réalisation de négatif numérique pour au final obtenir un tirage platine (si cela est possible).

Je cherche donc des possesseurs des imprimantes suivantes:
  • pixma pro 9500
  • pixma ip4500
  • pixma ip2600
  • Pixma ix 5000
Les participant (un par imprimante) recevra en fin de calage un tirage d'une de ses images en platine palladium au format 16x24cm ou 18X18cm sur papier Cot 320. Il devra, par ailleur, avoir ou avoir accès à un logiciel Photoshop. En échange il devra ,après reception de mes fichiers et du transparent jet d'encre, m'envoyer par courier ( à ses frais) l'impression jet d'encre sur transparent. Si cela se passe bien cela ne devrait pas prendre plus de 3 expeditions:
  • La gamme de couleur
  • La premiere gamme de gris
  • la seconde gamme de gris ( corrigé)
Pour ma part j'enverrai:
  • Du transparent (par courrier)
  • une gamme de courrier et une gamme de gris par email
  • une courbe à appliquer sous photoshop
  • Un tirage d'une image
Pour s'incrire il suffit deme laisser un commentaire avec votre email.

Maintenat que mon labo est de nouveau en route, je vais reprendre la méthodologie pour mon imprimante HP Photosmart Pro B9180 (pictorico)

Pour le cyano, le platine et la gomme trichromie...

Hello Christian,
Like in alt printing, my 'french' is a lot of guesswork and trial and error so i write in English. Please excuse me.
If im guessing right, i think i wold like to answer your call to a 'Canon printer test' in producing diginegs. I however, only have the cheapo ip4200 which is not listed in your choices. (i've produced some van dykes from it a long tme ago using Novalith hd transpa on fabriano artistico. I use Novalith because were just like neighbors in the 18th arro.)Nothing really to wow about but im quite impressed by the outcome given that i didnt scan/ecran/printer calibrate anything, just eyeballing densities in photoshop. I think it is an effort in 'freeform' alt printing to borrow a word from someone i cant remember who in the alt-photo group referring to his gum printing.
so, if ever you include this printer model count me in. I have not been using it since the 2100 arrived.

i really admire your passion in this art. Keep it up!!
